It’s Too Hot to Go Outside

I bought this funky 60’s quilt from a flea market for $25 and spent the next four summers appliquéing and patching the holes and embroidering on each block. Sometimes embellishing the pattern, sometimes writing current event text and sometimes adding my own imagery.
I was so happy to be indoors, away from the hot summer sun, manifesting this cozy winter blanket to cuddle with my dog.
