Puzzled

Now that I’m starting to collect and use fabrics, I am creating bits of scraps that I don’t want to throw away. Puzzled with what to do with them, I thought I’d create a puzzle quilt.
This small quilt was inspired by the wonderfully whimsical illustrator Carla Sonheim. Apparently she can’t throw away anything either.
(Used cotton and polyester fabric scraps with cotton batting and Perle cotton floss. Hand-sewn raw-edge appliqué and hand quilted.)
