Oliver’s Poke Bowl Order

2024 | 10"x 10"

My son, who was a teenager at the time, texted me his poke bowl order so I’d have it… you know… just in case.

This embroidered and framed piece was inspired from the genius mind of Maggie Muth and her Textile Messages workshop on The Quilty Nook.

World Wide Web-land has opened my mind to so much learning and growth. I also took Heidi Parkes’ Framed Quilts Class to finish this piece so it became a memorable gift to my son.

(Cotton embroidery floss, mom’s linen tablecloth, wood frame; hand embroidered.)
