Taking Heidi Parkes’ Story Quilt Top Class on Creative Bug cemented my desire to pursue quilt making as an art practice. Her daily prompts gave me so much room to explore and play in ways I had never thought about or experienced. Each prompt became a delightful, thoughtful expression of my personal life and the whole project was so much fun and also quite educational. The best part of creating with this online pattern was doing each prompt remotely with two dear friends. I highly recommend her class!

(Leftover pieced scraps, vintage flour sack, linen and cotton fabric, cotton batting, cotton embroidery floss. Machine pieced and hand quilted and embroidered.)
